I'm 64, started playing two years ago after a 20 year lay off. After the first summer back I put my clubs in the back of the garage thinking I'll never touch those again! Seriously it was that bad. The end of last summer a friend talked me into playing 9 holes. I was horrified and still horrible. Then another friend lost her partner and asked me to play this summer. Well I have my pride and I had to do something. A week before the league started I bought this set of hybrids. I can actually see bogey golf! I was using "hand me downs" - his old set of Adams Idea hybrids. I was doing pretty well with them, but my husband thought that ladies' clubs, or senior clubs, with more flex might help me get more distance. I spent quite a while comparing sets available on Amazon and was intrigued by the Majek Senior Ladies All Hybrid Set (for women over 55 - I'm 68!!). There weren't a lot of reviews, but they were all positive. So I ordered them and received them promptly. Included in the package was an offer for a free sand wedge on my next order of $50 or more (the seller is Pacificgolfclubs.com). I called them about the offer and ended up ordering a better sand wedge that perfectly matches my new clubs and a set of headcovers for all 9 clubs. The loft is what differentiates the clubs. They have immediately given me the confidence I needed to hit the ball again - and am now hitting the ball as far as I used to. I am so glad I switched to all hybrid clubs with very light shafts. It makes all the difference in the world. I highly recommend them us gals who used to hit their 3 woods 150 yards easily, and have seen that yardage slip away to the point that you were almost ready to throw in the towel. But if you are like me, you just love this crazy game too much, and you still want to play & keep up with the rest of the gals, & maybe with some of the guys, too.
